Komodo Cricket Keeper - Large (10.6 inch)
he Komodo Cricket Keeper (Large / ~10.6 in) is an all-in-one housing, gut-loading, and dispensing unit designed for keeping live feeder crickets fresh, contained, and easy to feed to reptiles and amphibians without handling them directly.
Key Features & Design
Hands-Free Dispensing Tubes: Includes dark feeding tubes that insert into ports on the side of the lid. Crickets naturally crawl into these dark cylinders to hide. To feed, simply pull a tube out, tap the crickets into your enclosure or dusting bag, and slide it back in.
Self-Closing Flaps / Baffles: When a dispenser tube is removed, an internal gravity trapdoor or flap falls into place to prevent remaining crickets from escaping through the hole.
Maximum Ventilation: The snap-lock lid features finely spaced ventilation slats that ensure continuous airflow while keeping even smaller crickets inside. Good ventilation is critical to preventing humidity buildup and ammonia toxicity, the primary causes of cricket die-offs.
Removable Feeding/Watering Dishes: Often includes compact food and water sponge/gel wells at the base or clip-on trays to make gut-loading clean and manageable.
Clear Viewing Base: Made of durable, high-clarity plastic that allows easy monitoring of cricket health, food levels, and cleanliness.
